Touring the WordPress admin interface

Once you’ve installed WordPress, you will need to learn how to navigate the WordPress admin interface. This back-end dashboard allows you to control all aspects of your site. This article contains a screencast guiding you through the more important areas of this admin interface.

The web address (or URL) to log into your site’s admin panel is standard: www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin (change yourdomain to your actual domain name). Here, you can log in with the user name and password you created (or that were created for you) when you installed WordPress.

Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be greeted with the WordPress Dashboard. From here, you can access all the different settings and functions of your WordPress site.
